Just what I need, Dana thinks to herself, well she might as well squish them before she starts cleaning. She puts down the sponge and bucket and slowly makes her way to the "insects". They certainly are odd looking bugs, with their multi-colored outer shells and erratic movements. A look of utter disgust crosses her face. Such terrible creatures insects are, always seeming to give her trouble. She doesn't even mind crushing them in her bare feet.
The children huddle together in fear, the shockwaves from their mother's booming feet rattles them to their core. They watch as the muscles in their mother's thigh raises the leg which raises the destructive foot. The foot crushes the air beneath it and microscopic dust and debris is scattered to the winds. Finally, she stands before them and the children realize they are no longer to her what they once were. They are mere insects now to be crushed under foot. This realization gives speed to their feet...
