Mom, The Killer

Wildly they dive across the floor sliding toward the couch. Mike screams out, "Under the couch". And they scurry away just as their mother's foot slams on the floor again. Running to the back of the couch, Mike called for them all. Meanwhile, Mom was pulling the couch out to try to kill them once and for all. "Damn bugs, I ain't done with you yet," she scowled as she yanked at the couch. Sara began crying, but Mike knew what to do. "Sara, be quiet, Mom doesn't know that we are shrunk and she may kill us before we can tell her. Let's make the dash to the bathroom door." Mike began running with Sara and Ben hot on his heels. The bathroom door was cracked and they slipped in. They could still hear their Mom slashing with the broom under the couch to no avail. Finally, she decided that she had killed them and began washing the floor. Mike sat down on the bathroom rug with Sara and Ben knowing that he had to put together a plan. The bathroom will be the next place that she goes to clean.
