The Next Day

Takuya woke up and yawned loudly. They had been in the meat apple grove for some time now and Takuya was about ready to leave. He picked a few meat apples and finished them, burped loudly and went off to see what J.P was up to.
"So are we ready to leave the grove soon?" Takuya asked J.P as he saw his friend cooking lunch for the group.
"I don't think so," J.P said, "We don't need to right now..."
"But we have to defeat Cherubimon!" Takuya cried.
"Yeah, but he doesn't seem to be attacking anywhere right now and we've got plenty of food right now. Maybe it's time to relax and have a little vacation for a while..."
"But!" Takuya started, but then noticed his pants were tighter than normal. "Just a sec, I have to use the bathroom," Takuya said, running off to a nearby tree.
"That's funny, I don't have to go..." Takuya said, trying harder than usual to button up his pants. He tugged hard on both ends trying to get them to fit his waist.
"Come...on!" he growled. Finally he got them over and buttoned over his wider waist and... flabby stomach.
"What?" Takuya said, and sure enough he had a soft little potbelly forming on his perfect soccer player's stomach.
"I've gotta suck it in!" Takuya said! "I must of gained twenty pounds! No one should find out about this! I should eat less from now on!"
Suddenly, the small bulge in his shirt started to growl loudly.
