After J.P had passed lunch around, Takuya quickly finished off what he had been given and was asking for more just seconds after everyone else had started. Within a matter of minutes, nine meat apples had been stuffed in Takuya's mouth and the other four had been eated by his friends.
"Any more?" Takuya asked eagerly handing J.P an empty plate.
"No, Takuya... You kinda ate them all..." J.P replied.
"Jeez, Takuya," Kouji said, "You shouldn't eat so much, you're starting to put on weight, you look like you weigh about 120 or so!" Kouji gave Takuya's small bulge of a belly a firm poke.
Takuya burped loudly and then said, "Nuh-uh! I've gained just about as much as you!"
It was true, Kouji's belly was round and beginning to strain his dark blue shirt. Kouji's arms and legs looked doughier as well.
"You two boys should stop overeating," Zoe said.
"Hey! I'll burn this all off by next week, it'll be easy!" Takuya said.
"Yeah, me too." Kouji said in response.
"Hmm, maybe we should run a bit," Takuya suggested.
"Sounds good to me," Kouji said, "I'll race you to that tree up there!" Kouji pointed to a large tree atop a huge mountain miles away from the grove.
Before Kouji heard an answer, Takuya had already took off and was running fast... maybe a little slower than he remembered.
"I think I can outrun chubby this time!" thought Kouji as he started to sprint.
They must have ran for about an hour, soon the two were neck to neck, panting, but they had reached the tree... at the same time!
They both collapsed to the ground, panting heavily, sweating and laughing histerically.
Kouji looked over at Takuya but his breath stopped when he saw that...
