The doorbell rang. "I'll get it." Mel said leaving the kitchen.
Alex stuffed the rest of the brownie in his mouth and wiped the crumbs from his fingers and went into the living room sitting on the couch, before he could turn on the tv, Mel walked towards the coffee table holding a curious package wrapped in brown paper and string. "Its for you Alex, I had to sign for it." She was sitting on the ground on her knees inspecting the package on the coffee table.
"I don't remember ordering anything" Alex said coming over and standing at her side looking down.
Mel started to laugh. "Whats so funny?" Alex asked. "There isn't a return address but the name on it is funny." She replied.
Alex snatched it out of her hands. "Its mine let me open it." He said. His face turned white and he froze when he read the name on the return address. Plumpelstiltskin
Mel got up annoyed. "The smell of those brownies are calling to me anyways." She said leaving the room.
Alex sat down and set the package on the coffee table. This is from that guy from that website. How the hell did he find my address? He thought.
He heard a faint sound, it sounded like it was coming from the package. He put an ear to it. It was an eerie faint heart beating sound that reminded him of that movie Jumanji. Alex untied the string and in it an ornately carved wooden box slide out.
Board Game of Transformation Was inscribed. On the edges were carvings of images depicting women. Some were fat, some were slim, one had abnormally large breasts protruding from her chest with her mouth wide in surprise. There was a woman from behind with a wide bottom clutching it with both hands. Some of the women showed expressions of exhilaration and some had their faces twisted into screams.
He traced the carvings of the women with his finger. He noticed a white piece of paper sticking out of the packaging he had set to the side. Alex unfolded a letter.

Plumpelstiltskin
This didn't make sense to Alex. He folded the page and put it in his pocket. The lid to the board game was split in the middle with hinges on either side. He unfolded it and it revealed a gameboard with many spaces that had a start point and an end point. In the middle was a small box with two openings, one where a card would go in and one where it would come out. There were no cards, however- none that he could see. On top of the wooden box was a cloudly convex glass lens. There was an indentation off to one side of the board that was full of different colored pawn shaped wooden pieces. There was another indentation with dice, and a folded card that had the rules. He noticed in the corner of the card it read "The transformation game for Women!"
He unfolded it. The rules were like out of something on those stories he saw online. It said the game would transform your body in different ways. The winner of the game would return to normal and only keep the changes they like if they so choose to for a week. The losers would be stuck as they were for a week also as they were transformed. So play at your own risk It also had a warning about how this game was for women only and a man playing this game may have some unfortunate consequences. There was a mention that there had to be at least two people playing and other people could join in at anytime. There were a couple of other rules but Alex folded it back up and set it on the table in case someone came in the room and saw what it said. He would have a hard time explaining this to his family.
Its not like it was real though but they would think it was perverted or something. He picked up a green wooden piece to inspect it and dropped it. To his surprise the piece quickly moved on its own and slid right to the Start position.
Alex tried to pick it up but it was stuck. Was there magnets or something? He tried rolling the dice and got 2. His piece moved on its own two spaces.
In the middle of the board the cloudly looking smoke in the convex glass lens started to swirl and words appeared.
Draw card.
Alex wasn't sure what to do, but he realized he could put his palm on the lens and press it. A card shot out. He picked it up. You have been eating clean and lost 5 lbs. Great job!
He felt a shiver run through his body. What is this game? The smoke in the lens swirled and letters appeared: Waiting for at least 1 other player.
Alex pulled out his phone and went to that website that sent him this package. At the top it said Live Story In Progress! It had a view count of a few hundred people. He clicked on it and the title said Alex and The Board Game of Transformation
Words were appearing on the screen writing paragraphs. There were a lot of paragraphs he could see and it was typing out in real time. He focused and read what it was typing
Alex hunched over on his livingroom floor reading his phone. His eyes widened with suprise at the text typing in real time down the screen
"Wait what?!" Alex said getting up.
He rose from the floor clutching his phone in his clammy sweaty hands.
Alex realized his hands were sweaty and wiped them on his pants. The text on the phone was narrating his every move. Alex scrolled up to read what it said before back when he drew the card.
The card in Alex's hand read "You have been eating clean and lost 5 lbs. Great job!" Alex felt a shiver as 5 pounds of fat was subtracted from his body. He was already slim so this caused his ribs to become more pronounced.
Alex lifted his shirt and it was right he could see his ribs more than before! That card caused him to lose weight!
He scrolled back to the text appearing.
Mel finished her second brownie and told her mother she was going to see what Alex got in the mail. She walked into the living room.
Alex looked up to see Mel entering the room. Alex locked his phone and put it in his pocket.
"What is that?" She asked picking up the card Alex had drawn. "Lose 5 pounds? I wish I could lose a few pounds." She said patting her pronounced tummy. She picked up the rules. "Alex what is this? This looks weird?" She picked up the dice.
"No wait don't!" Alex said lunging forward. Too late. Mel dropped the dice on the board and a red wooden piece flipped out of the pile of game pieces and went to the start position then moved ahead 4 spaces.
"Woah so cool!" Mel exclaimed. "Oooh it says to draw a card." She pressed the glass lens and a card shot out.
