You stopped for a moment and was surprised to see something more than just more dirt... a stair way made of stone heading up towards... somewhere.
You cant see whats up ahead in the fog, but at least it was the sign of progress! You just hope that the stairs wont take you nearly as long as the path to them did, and so you start to march your way up.
At some point of climbing the stairs, you took a break and sat down on the stairs and looked back down where the fog was thicker below than it was above... a part of you wondered if you were to go back down you would find that you had made no progress on going up these stairs...
Deciding not to take that risk, you turn got back up once you got your breath back and kept on walking higher up the side of whatever you were climbing.
Thankfully, it would not take you that long to find something up ahead as the fog cleared out more, helping you see more, as well as hear more as there was the sound of something up ahead, you think you heard, and what you was...
