A huge clock tower with moving gears and smoke

As you climbed higher than you thought possible, you start seeing a shadow through the fog of a very tall tower, and getting closer, you start hearing the noises of rotating metal and groaning on old wood.

As you got closer, you start seeing more details of the base of the tower, which also had a fairly large building attached to it. You could not see the top of the tower, but then you started to hear a huge banging noise suddenly coming from the top.

It stroke once...

Twice...

Thrice...

Four times...

Than stopped...

The ringing of some huge bell came to a still and the only sounds once again was the turning gears you see jetting out of the sides of the tall structure.

The building itself didn't look like a church, but you can take a guess at least the tower that it was attached to was a clock tower, and the hour was 4 now...

Maybe someone inside can help you figure out where you are, and how to get out of this fog before it gets dark out. Something tells you you don't want to be out here in the middle of the night...
