It was half past five in the morning and Neela Rasgotra was sitting on the L platform waiting for the train.

'Half past five', she thought, 'why couldn't I have gone for a speciality where you can work regular hours?'

Neela was tired, and she had a long day ahead of her. The poor girl had had barely four hours sleep last night. And she was hungry. The train pulled up and Neela stood up and walked into the carriage, looking for somewhere to sit. She blamed it on her inadequate sleep where she thought she saw a tiny little man in the middle of an otherwise empty seat.
