Smiling with a glint in her eyes, the young fox came up with a idea.
"You know boys, my parents are talking to Mrs. Puffin right now. It would be a shame if I went and joined them, and maybe let what you three are up to slip out."
At this, the three boys stiffened at her words and eyed her carefully.
"Then again, I could be persuaded to forget this little meeting for something in return."
Seeing as she could jepordize the hiest, Sly walked up to her, ready to see what it would take to keep her quiet.
"Okay..."
"Carmelita."
"Carmelita, I believe we got off on the wrong foot. I'm Sly, and these are my two best friends, Bently and Murry."
At the mention of there names, the two boys waved shyly.
"Now then, what would it take to keep you quiet about what were up to?"
Giving a kind yet gleeful smile, pretended to think when she looked to them like a fox full of mirth.
"Give me a few of those cookies, and you got a deal."
Looking back to his friends, he gave a look, as if asking what they thought.
But all he got was thumbs up from them, as if saying they would part with a few cookies for her silence.
"Okay Carmelita, you got yourself a deal."
Grinning, she jumped up and down in excitement before her parents called her into the office.
