The hot sun beat down on Akari, and there was nothing but sand as far as she could see. It did not take long for her to realize that she was now stranded in the middle of a desert. On one hand Akari was glad that she was wearing light clothing so the heat shouldn't be too much trouble. On the other hand she had no food, water, or any other kind of supplies that would be useful for survival in a desert.
"I can't just stand here," Akari mumbled to herself. After all the odds of someone coming across her in this spot where miniscule. Standing there would surely be a death sentence.
