You turn your head around, seeing May run her way closer to you. You of course wear a smile at your friend and wave at her back, waiting for her to catch up. Didn’t take that long honestly considering how fit she was.
“Hey.” She said arriving next to you. “How’s your sleep.”
“Can’t complain. You know, even I have been banished.” You joke back to May. You two, honestly get along so well. She’s someone you feel so comfortable talking to and being near, and you feel like it’s the same as her. “How about you, how’d you sleep May?”
“Excited.” She said as you were confused to the girl with the ribbon.
“Okay... weird way to sleep?” You chuckle back to her.
“I couldn’t go to sleep. I was just so excited for the day. A bit tired.” She giggled before looking at you. “Oh my gosh, you totally forgot didn’t you!”
“No, I did not forget.” You say back to her “... But let’s say that I did.”
“Lisia is coming to this school today!” May said. “I’m so excited, i’m such a fan.”
“Oh... the idol chick?” You probably could of said it better cause of the look. “Come on, you know i’m not into that.”
“Come on!” She giggled. “An Idol is coming to this school. I really hope that she decides to stay here and come to this school. Oh we would be such good friends.”
You chuckle, but know it’s true. May can really get anyone on her side. She is just so likeable.
“If you want friends, Maybe you should go and see that Zinnia girl, I think if anyone needs them it’s her.”
“Nah, she’s a bit too weird to talk to. That came out of nowhere?” She moved and stood her way in front of you, blocking your path. “Also, that was sort of out of nowhere?”
“Was thinking about her the way over. Just how many weirdos our school has.”
She giggled as she playfully pointed her finger at you. “And you are the weirdest one of all.”
“H-Hey, if you are talking about,” You stop as you look around. “The rumour, you know that’s not true.”
“Could be, you could be sneaking in and peaking under girl’s skirts. Maybe that is why you don’t wanna go bike riding with me. Too busy peeping under skirts.”
“And... i’m done with this conversation.” You say as you walk back. You know she was just teasing you, but it still hit a bit too close to home.
May seemed to notice as she walked beside you.
“By the way, why haven’t you come on a bike ride. You busy now?”
“No, and I still don’t wanna go.” You say to her.
“You can’t ride a bike, can you?”
“I can!” You snap back to her annoyed. “It’s just that I don’t wanna. Not all of us can love the outdoors like you can.”
She rolled her eyes in response as the two of you kept on walking some more.
Until finally, you two reached a crowd. A crowd of girls around.
“What’s this about?” You wonder as you weren’t sure.
“I don’t know, let’s see.” She walked ahead, holding your hand as she lead you through the crowd. You can’t really push your way through a crowd of girls, too dangerous for the only boy at the school.
Eventually you and May reached the front of the line, seeing two woman.
It was Shelly, and it was Courtney. Admittedly you were less than interested in this now that you know who it is. The woman argue all the time.
“It’s easy to say that Courtney, what was it... a Brown Bimbo. Well, it’s better than being a pint size nuisance.” Shelly said with a level of mockery that was impressive.
“I would rather have a small body than yours. A body with so much... fat?” Oh, Courtney is probably the most savage in the school.
“Little weirdo.”
“Ugly tramp.”
“Unpopular Prude.”
“You are gonna grow up into a hooker, you know that Shelly.”
Yep, although Shelly was stronger, she can’t beat the roast master Courtney. There was a level of worry among the girls, while you... you take back what you said, Shelly looked like she was ready to hit Courtney!
“Come on let’s go.” May said still holding your hand and turning around.
“W-Wait a second, May I actually wanna see this now.” A cat fight between these two, how can you not. Although May kept dragging you away.
“We don’t need to see it.” May said as you guess you were going with her. Her hand still on yours as you hope there wasn’t a fight. Let the tension build, and next time you can see the cat fight.
You and May leave as you two walk for a bit more. Until the bell goes. “I got a free lesson, what about you May?”
“No, I gotta go to class.” She said with a sad face. “I’d really like to spend the time with you, but I gotta go.”
“Well, maybe i’ll go back and-”
“Don’t you see them fight.” May said crossing her arms over her chest. “I don’t like them.”
“Yeah Me neither. Shelly’s got an ego that no one can compare to, and Courtney is the rudest girl in the world. That’s why it’s fun to see them beat up each other.”
May giggled, in response. “Well, I gotta go. See you later.” She waved you goodbye, before sighing.
“Okay May, after school today. I guess the two of us can uh... go for that bike ride. Don’t expect me to be as good as you are.” it’s true, you’ve seen her on her bike. Not only can she go super fast, she can also wheelie, bunny hop and all sorts of tricks.
She went ahead and smiled right next to you, as May really does have a beautiful smile.
