After saying goodbye to May with the promise of going on a bike ride with her after school, you were on your way to class when all of a sudden you heard a faint sound coming from one of the side doors.
"Psst, hey you, come here!" A quiet female voice says.
You look to your right and see peaking her head out of a door was none other than the girl May had suggested you befriend earlier. It was Zinnia. The dark haired girl was looking from side to side as she was seemingly making sure the coast was clear.
"Hey, (Y/N), come here!" She said quietly.
It was really a weird scene, the girl was poking her head out and had her hoodie up to cover her head as she was gesturing with her hand to come closer. You weren't sure how to feel but letting curiosity get the better of you...
"Zinnia right? Erm ok...what's up?" You ask the strange girl.
As soon as you were within arms reach she grabbed you and pulled you into the room! You fall through the door as she closes and locks it behind you. Looking around you see you're in an unused classroom, it was dark and dusty as the shades were drawn and the windows were closed.
"Zinnia, what the hell was that for?" You ask her.
"Sorry, I couldn't risk anyone seeing us together, I don't want them to talk." Zinnia said as she pulled her hood down and took a step towards you.
The girl walks over and is standing very close to you. The girl only came up top your chin but she was still a girl in your own year and was actually quite cute when you looked past the weird stuff. So of course you looked away nervously as you started to feel hot under the collar.
"Erm, why would they talk? We're not doing anything..." You mutter down to her.
Zinnia tilts her head to the side as she completely disregards what you said as she looks up at you, her eyes filled with intent.
"Now listen don't freak out, but we were meant to meet!" She said, her eyes sparkling.
"R-really? I mean we've met before, like last year, in home economics..." You say back shyly.
Again she disregards this as she places her hands behind her back as she leans her head back and looks up at you with her fast blinking eyes.
"See, I saw it...in a vision. Well it was a dream but I'm sure it was a vision. We had to meet, its what the dragons want!" Zinnia says brightly.
Oh yeah, this girl was obsessed with dragons, she was convinced that they walked the earth at one point, but not at the same time as the dinosaurs. And she believes she's the reincarnation of an ancient chief clansman from ancient times. So yeah she was pretty weird, no wonder she didn't have any friends...
"Ah...of course you did, well its nice that you dream of me, I didn't think you were that interested in me!" You reply, teasing her.
You smile at Zinnia in a cocky way, but to your surprise Zinnia stands on her tiptoes and leans in even closer to you, her face inches from you.
"Yes I am very interested. See I finally got what it meant. You were my right hand back in the days of old! And get this, it was an all women's clan except for one man. You! Does that seem like destiny?" Zinnia said enthusiastically.
Ok this was getting very strange. You needed to get the hell out of here, even if she was cute...So you take a step back as you wipe your red face in embarrassment.
"Wow, that's great...but listen I need to get going...I have a...lunch reservation...yeah, can't be missing those lunch reservations!" You lie awkwardly.
You try to leave but then out of nowhere she takes your hands in hers. You go super red as Zinnia smiles up at you, her pointy teeth on full display as she gives you a kind of loving look.
"Please Don't go! I can prove it to you! I was given ancient words that if spoken to by the clansman to her right hand, then it would bring about great change to that person! So please let me try it, what's the worst that could happen?" Zinnia said as she gripped your hands.
Well this girl was super weird, but this was actually part of her charm and made her even cuter. So you reluctantly agree as Zinnia lets out a girlish giggle as pulls you over to two chairs. You sit down as Zinnia doesn't let go of your hands. She then closes them and starts chanting some weird words.
"Lamonto, el zerga. Highter O fazan. The sizer breeng chang, zil hi siw!!!" She says.
You look at her as she opens her eyes expectantly. But to her disappointment she saw you sitting there unchanged. She let go of your hands as she looked at the ground in embarassment.
"Sorry...guess I was wrong." She says sadly.
"Its cool, it was...an experience haha, but I gotta go, so see you later..." You say as you stand up.
However Zinnia lets out a shriek as she points at you.
