You hesitate. You really hadn't meant to force this on her, but you weren't able to ask her permission in frozen time, and it would have been too awkward anyway. Briefly, you entertain the idea of pretending you don't know what she's talking about, that you're the original Olivia and that she only thinks she is, but you know that without access to her memories, that's not something you'd ever be able to pull off.
"I...well, uh...that is..."
Olivia crosses her new arms and gives you a stern, but not necessarily harsh, stare. You sigh.
"Okay, fine," you admit. You glance toward Kyle and Derek, who are just near the trees, looking back at you. Kyle nudges Derek, and the two start up their own conversation. Good. You don't want to involve them anyway. You turn back to Olivia and continue, "I...might have, kinda, asked Vivienne to switch our bodies."
"You what?" says Olivia, though between her tone and the weird smirk on her face, you can tell she's more amused than angry.
"I-I'm sorry!" you say quickly. "I know I should have asked, but it's just, honestly even more than I wanted to date you - and I really wanted to date you - I realized when she started showing off how she's all magical that what I really want is to be you, and since I can't just erase my old identity, I thought--"
"Whoa there, Tim, calm down," Olivia chuckles. "I don't mind."
"You, you don't?" you stutter, shocked.
"I mean, I am a little miffed you didn't ask," she says. "But honestly, this is cool! I wouldn't mind being you for a while."
"Um...f-for a while?" you ask. You can feel your face heating up.
Olivia's gaze becomes stern again, and her voice, formerly yours, takes a warning tone you honestly can't say you've ever heard before. "Yes, Tim. For a while. This is cool and all, but I don't think I'm ready to commit to being you forever. Look, I'm not gonna force a definite time limit on you, but if I say I want my body back, then you and me are coming right back here to get returned to normal. 'Kay?"
You sigh. You figured something like this would happen, and honestly you're rather thankful that she's not just marching you back into the cabin right now. "Alright. That's fair."
Olivia immediately wraps her arms around you, pulling you into a hug. "Then thank you so much! This is the coolest thing ever! I can not believe I get to experience real magic, for as long as I want! And listen, I promise I'll switch back if you want, too, but I mean, this was your idea, so--"
"Please let go!" you interrupt, feeling the air getting squeezed out of you. Your old body isn't particularly athletic, but Olivia's isn't any more so, so she's at the advantage at the moment.
"Oh!" Olivia says, dropping you. "Oops, sorry! Man, I know you're not, like, the manliest guy out there - no offense - but your body's way stronger than mine. Alright, let's go!"
The two of you head back over to Kyle and Derek - Derek looking rather annoyed - and set off once again. Olivia doesn't mention a thing about your request to Vivienne, presumably leaving that ball in your court. Kyle, however, immediately springs on what he's just seen.
"So, what was that about, you two? Did Tim finally strike it rich?"
Olivia folds her hands behind her head and looks away, not remotely sheepish or apologetic, playing it way cooler than you ever would have. This one's on you. The prospect of dating your old body, especially since it's Olivia in there, isn't entirely unappealing. It could be interesting to get the "full" girl experience, even if it being your old self is a bit strange. But on the other hand, you're still you, and have all your normal interests - including girls. Heck, even if you say no, your options are still open. But then, it's also Olivia, and your crush on her hasn't disappeared just because you are her now.
