Nimbly ducking under a thick wooden club aimed directly at the side of her head, Paya retaliated by jabbing her kodachi at her attacker. A red Bokoblin let out a screech before falling backwards, exploding into a puff of dark smoke. Returning her weapon to its sheath, Paya spun on her heel to face the rest of the Bokoblin encampment, determination written across her face.
I have what I need, Paya thought to herself, shifting backwards a step to scoop up the horn from the slain Bokoblin. I could leave right now but... then these creatures will continue to roam around! I... I can't allow that!
"C-Come at me, vile monsters!" Paya cried, launching herself forwards. Drawing her kodachi, she prepared to strike out at the Bokoblin nearest her when, suddenly and unexpectedly, they all let out simultaneous screeches and ran away. Coming to a halt, Paya watched them run, mouth slightly agape. "Did I do that? N-No, it couldn't have been me..."
