Spectators roared with advent fervor as they watched the spectacle that lay before them. Two titans of Galar's Pokémon League were fighting against each each other in an exhibition match, and even the most casual Pokémon League viewer could understand what made this fight so special. The roar of a well-trained charizard's flames, the excitement of a well timed dynamax -- even in a world where Pokémon battles were normal, and encouraged, it was truly a spectacle to behold. And yet, this wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Battles at this scale were common, and that's exactly what made the Pokémon League Galar's national pastime.
The ideal way to watch a match was in person at one of the region's many stadiums; though, getting a seat for a match could prove difficult, and this difficulty increased exponentially when a fight was highly anticipated. So, many people ended up watching the matches online. Fans could watch entire matches live from the comfort of their home, or they could catch archives of the matches whenever they had the time. It wasn't ideal, but at least everyone was able to watch the matches some way or another.
Though, some people actually preferred watching matches online. After all, watching at a stadium meant going to the stadium, which took time, buying a ticket, which cost money, and sitting near thousands of other people. For some, this just wasn't worth it, and so they choose to watch from the comfort of their homes.
One of those people was Gloria, a girl living in the rural town of Postwick. For her, the roar of the crowd and the spectacle of the fight had always been encapsulated in her rotom phone, and she'd only ever watched it sitting on the soft cushions of her couch, rather than on the edge of a hard plastic seat in a stadium. That said, even without the roar of the stadium, the Pokémon League was something that Gloria had always watched on a regular basis.
Of course, sitting around on the couch and watching Pokémon League all day can have a noticeable effect on a girl's figure. In the more rural areas of Galar, it wasn't uncommon for woman to be a bit plumper with how little there could be to do at times. In Gloria's case...
