You look out across the vast chasm that is the gap between the edge of the seat and the radio panel above. The open air was large enough to fly a plane though and here you were without a helicopter. The idea of trying to make the jump only crossed your mind for a mico-moment, but that would just end with you falling most likely to your death to the floor below. Your crumbled body would simply join the mess of dirt, sand, and random trash that had collected down below.
"If you do try, do a flip or something. If we are going to die, might as well look cool doing it." Johnny said looking over the edge flicking a cig over.
At the moment things were looking a bit hopeless, you had no way to cross the vast chasm to the radio at least not in any kind of realist time frame. It would take you hours too climb down the seat to the floor and then back up to the Radio. It was more then likely Panam would have arrived at where ever it was she was going and left you in the car. Then you'd have to worry about some fucking bug or some shit finding you before she did. You couldn't even work on the radio with radio off, you'd need to find a better way.
Panam came in with an answer as the sound of metal bending and groaning filled your ears. You'd look over to the god like nomad gripping the towering tin can sitting in her cup holder. The cold beer deforming ever so slightly in the grip of her powerful fingers before being lifted up high into the sky. You couldn't pull your eyes away watching her sip hundreds of gallons of cold beer like nothing, the giant woman softly swallowing before putting her drink back.
"Perfect!"
Johnny followed behind you a bit confused for the moment, "Perfect, I love a beer as much as, well probably a bit more then your average guy, but even I don't think I could handle one that size."
"Not to drink, to climb up on. I have those mag cyberwear I had installed in my hands for that bank job. I figure they can scale a steel barricaded no reason they can't do the same with a skyscraper sized beer can."
"And once you have scaled tin tower, what's your plan exactly? I don't think even a nomad enjoys finding small things hanging around their drinks."
"I don't plan on climbing all the way to the top. I just need to hang on the side and when she picks it up, I use to momentum to jump to the radio."
Johnny stops in his tracks looking up at the beer then over to the radio, "You sure you can ever survive that landing?"
You only shrug, "I have no idea."
The short answer and the crazy plan puts a smile on Johnny's face as he blinks in front of you. "Well, now that sounds like a plan to me. Lets get climbing Samurai."
That was easy for Johnny to say of course, you were doing all the climbing, he was just along for the ride. You began making your way up the center console finding more then enough handholds in the material. Panam took loving care of her car, but it was still old and beat up from and hell and back. The small dings and gashes in the material and metal let you climb up and make good time. Your augments making the lengthy climb some what bearable until you can face to face with Panam's beer.
The sliver wall of the immense cylinder stretched off high into the sky above, it put most oft the building in Nigh City to shame. The thick metal walls of the can had an additional danger as you looked up the vertical wall, perspiration. You could easily see impossibly large drops of water forming on the surface of the metal. You'd need to be careful, each drop was many times your size able to easily fill up several dozen swimming pools.
"What scared of taking a bath? Come on V get to climbing." Johnny jabbed at your hesitation.
You got moving climbing up the side of the can moving little by little. You could take a little pleasure in knowing you wouldn't have to climb the whole can. You just needed to be high enough to toss yourself off when Panam went for a drink.
