Chapter #7

Leap of Faith

    by: Redhand Author IconMail Icon
You made good time climbing up the side of Panman's beer, while the giant nomad was busy concentrating on the road ahead of her. You find your spot latching on nice and tight allowing you to get a bit of rest. After that climb you were happy you picked climbing the can over climbing her, you weren't sure you would of had the stamina to get past her hips much less all the way to her head.

Now all you can do is wait, wait and enjoy the view. You look up to to Panam the soft glow of her skin and the slight smile spreed across her lips. She looks so peaceful when she was diving, you think about how lucky you were to have met her. You think about the two of you back in the Basilisk, the connection you shared was something you'd never felt before. It was why even with all this shit going on you knew Panam would be there for you, she'd be on your side, maybe thats why you appeared here?

"Day dreaming about your output?" Johnny's voice interrupted your thoughts bringing you back to your situation.

"Just a bit lost in thought is all." You respond as you look up to Panam again before losing sight of her. Her hand filling your view as she reached down for another sip of her beer.

This was it, it was time to either reach the radio or die trying. Panam's finger's crash down onto the can shaking you hard, thankfully your mag-grip holds and you don't go flying. You clench up nearly every part of your body right as a wall of g-forces crash intno you. The beer moved up at incredible speed putting any high end sports car to shame feeling more like hanging onto a rocket.

The wind was wiping by your body as you looked back to see your target in the distance. You'd only get one shot at this. As Panam started to tilt the an upwards you disengaged the mag-grip in your fingers. You felt your body come free and activating your jump pads you spring off the can.
