Alice had been suffering a pain in her neck ever since she left the World market 4 hours ago. It started off as just a dull pain, a bit like a light headache, but as the day went on it became more acute and created a burning sensation in her spine near the base of her neck. She assumed that she must have pulled a muscle at some point, so she decided to do some neck exercises to help ease the pain.
Alice sat down on her sofa and began rotating her neck, first clockwise then anti-clockwise. As she started to loosen up a bit, she turned her neck left then right. Left then right. The pain was slowly fading so she looked up then down. Up then down. It was at this point where Alice could no longer feel the burning in her neck but instead a tingling numbness that quickly spread across her entire body.
