Just as Alice was about to start worrying, the tingling numbness fades almost as quickly as it had began. She slowly regains feeling, starting from her neck, down her shoulders & into her arms, then down her torso before finally regaining the feeling in her legs & all the way down to her toes. Alice looks down at herself, raising her arms to chest height as she inspects herself. Everything appears to be normal. Nothing seems out of place.
"That was strange. I wonder what caused that?" Alice wonders aloud. She rubs the back of her neck as she ponders what had just happened. She then notices that the pain her neck was no longer present. Whatever had happened, it seemed to have been for the better.
"Well that's...That's a *yawn* relief." Alice tells herself as she suddenly feels a strong fatigue fall over her. Alice looks up at the clock. It's not even 5pm yet, she should not feel this tired. She wonders what she could have done to tire herself out so early. Whatever it was, Alice decides that a short nap might do her some good. She still has work to do later, so she cannot afford to rest for long. As she lays down on her bed, she allows herself to rest for no more than an hour.
Alice falls into a deep sleep almost instantly as her head meets the pillow. In her resting state, she becomes unaware of the passage of time.
