This choice: Devouring the Blue Lions • Go Back...Chapter #5Devouring the Blue Lions by: Frost (Spoilers for Edelgard and Dimitri’s past as revealed in Blue Lions route.)
The boys of the Blue Lions remained absolutely helpless as the girls dug into their plates of cookies. Their eyes were focused on the massive lips devouring sweets hundred of times their size. All the while, they were anticipating their demise, fearing the worst as the girls enjoyed their time together.
The first boy to meet misfortune was Ashe, as he felt a considerable amount of air pressure weigh down on him as Ingrid lifted his cookie up to her mouth. Ashe struggled against his sugary binds, finding it impossible to break out. He found himself staring at her awaiting mouth, ones that had excitedly recited tales of valiant knights with him.
At the very least, he would be a bit of nutrition for the blonde knight. It wasn’t much of an honorable death, but he wasn’t all too sure he deserved one in the first place.
He was carried into the dark abyss of Ingrid’s mouth, her hot breath covering everything. Ashe cowered as he passed under her teeth, hoping she wouldn’t bring them on him. Luckily, she didn’t as he was brought to the center of her mouth.
Everything went dark as she bit down, locking him inside and securing his death. The heat began to melt the chocolate chip, turning it into a sludge as it mixed with her saliva. It didn’t take long for the wave of chocolate ooze to roll onto her awaiting tongue, where Ashe was left helpless and left at the mercy of Ingrid’s chewing as a boulder sized crumb came rolling towards him.
“Ashe!” Dimitri cried, barely managing to force an arm out from his prison. He couldn’t do much else but watch in abjection as Ingrid swallowed, a lump sliding down her throat. If he survived the mashing, he would almost certainly die in the pit of the the blonde’s stomach, a fate that made them sick to the core. Though, unlike Ashe, they hadn’t experienced what it truly meant.
Felix would learn next. Annette giddily grabbed cookie in each hand with only one containing the black haired knight. The red haired giantess hummed a song Felix found all too familiar, and if he were honest, charmingly horrific in the moment.
Oh, this mountain of sweets, and treats that I long to eats~
If fate had a sense of humor, it was a dark one, as the lyrics to Annette’s song about food rang through his head. Felix couldn’t help but laugh. It was a fleeting experience that disappeared as he was carelessly tossed into her mouth.
He was deposited into her mouth, landing in a pile of mush. He fought his way up to stand, only to find Annette greedily taking another bite of her cookie, sending a mountain of sweets racing towards him.
Two thoughts rang through his mind, first, he couldn’t help but feel Dimitri was the root of all this somehow. The second was that Annette needed to close her damn mouth when she chewed.
“Felix!” Even if there most recent interactions were mostly hostile, Dimitri was still wounded by the loss of his friend.
Then, Sylvain and Dedue’s cookies were lifted up by Flayn and Mercedes. Both thrashed against their bindings, coming up with nothing as they were being carried into the mouths of the healers. Sylvain was crushed by Flayn’s descending teeth, while Dedue had to watch as Mercedes slowly nibbled at her own cookie.
He was slowly brought over to her awaiting mouth as each bite brought him closer to death. He was caught in the unfortunate position of being directly under her them for her next bite. His weak attempt to shield himself with his hands was useless as he was crushed into paste by the sheer force.
“Dedue…” Dimitri sighed, almost resigned at this point. There was nothing he could do to bring them back. His struggling barely helped. Though at this point, he felt that he could only save himself. After all, he had the most time before his designated executioner devoured him.
“Is Edelgard joining us?”Annette asked, eyeing the last bit of cookies.
Mercedes shook her head. “I was just going to take it to her. I’m sure she’s too busy to stop by.”
—
Seeing the rest of Garreg Mach from his new size was utterly surreal. Everything was just so incomprehensibly huge. And as Mercedes paraded him from the dining hall to the dorm building, he caught other students eying him, looking right past him and focused more on the treats itself.
He continued to struggle against his binds, slowly breaking free. He was getting close. Though, he wasn’t sure what he would do once he was free, his yelling never registered, and he wasn’t really liking the idea of spending the rest of his days like a mite.
With a knock at the door, Mercedes waited for the birthday girl, a warm smile on her lips. Dimitri was unprepared to see the massive form of Edelgard as she answered the door.
“Oh, Mercedes, it’s nice to see you,” she greeted politely. “Is there anything you needed?”
Mercedes shook her head. “Just wanted to give something to the birthday girl on her special day.” She held the plate of cookies forward, pushing it onto her.
Edelgard paled at the implications of the gift and nudged the plate back “Um, my birthday’s under the Garland Moon, but I appreciate the thought.”
Mercedes’ eyes went wide. “Oh, really? Silly me, I always get the dates confused.” She then giggled, not really to upset about her airy nature. “But even still, I prepared these cookies with you in mind. I insist you take them.”
The princess quickly scanned the plate, looking for any hints of Lion in the dish. She could have sworn she saw a royal blue speck moving somewhere on it. “It… does look delicious. However, I have a strict diet to uphold.”
“Nonsense,” Mercedes countered surprisingly firmly. “You train harder than anyone, and I recall you tasking Hubert to swing by the dining hall to pick up cake for you.”
Edelgard forced a chuckle. “You caught me. I guess I can take it.”
“Yay!” the baker cheered. “Just bring the empty dish back to the dining hall when you’re done.”
“Of course,” Edelgard said, her voice stiff. “Thank you.”
As Mercedes turned and walked away, Edelgard brought he tray of cookies into her room and set it on the desk.
Down below, Dimitri had barely broken free from his chocolate prison, and was now rushing towards the edge of the cookie, looking to save himself from the same fate of his fellow students.
All he needed to do was get Edelgard’s attention. Even if they were currently rival house leaders, she was his stepsister, but more importantly an old childhood friend. She even cheered him on after he defeated her at The Battle of Eagle and Lion and set his sights on fighting the Golden Deer. She just had to help him.
