You closed the front door of Professor Juniper's lab. You were completely out of breath.
Professor Juniper looked at you with concern and asked, "Is everything alright, Kai?"
"Ye... yeah.... Just need a moment. Sally chased after me," you muttered as you took deep breaths.
"Oh, okay," Professor Juniper replied as she began to walked towards you. She stopped when she was a foot or two away from you.
Once you regained enough of your breath, you cheerfully said, "So I came here to get my first pokemon,"
Professor Juniper frowned a little, "Ah. You're a bit late. I just gave out my last pokemon for new trainers an hour ago. I won't be getting more until a month from now. The only ones with pokemon for new trainers is Sally's parent's and they're all Jynxes."
You froze.
"Ah. I see you don't want that. Then I have an offer," Professor Juniper said as she bent down to look you in the eyes. "How about becoming one of my Special Junior Lab assistant. Then you can have first pick when I get more pokemon."
You shivered for a moment before you asked, "Can I special request any pokemon?"
"That would mean working for me an extra month, but yes, you can," Professor Juniper answered.
"And what would I be doing as a Special junior Lab Assistant?" You asked.
"Oh, nothing much. Cleaning the place and some pokemon, feeding the pokemon, getting me and my other assistants food and drinks, nothing too hard, as you are still a kid," Professor Juniper answered.
You smiled and said," Alright, you got a new special Junior Lab assistant!"
"Then let's seal it with a kiss!" Professor Juniper said before grabbing the sides of your head and giving you a french kiss.
After a few moments, she let you go and said," I'll have to call your parents and let them know. So please wait in the waiting room."
So she walked away with an extra bit of sway in her hips.
