You looked around for something, anything to use as a weapon.
Spotting a thick branch near your head, you grabbed it and put your full weight on it, breaking it off.
"I don't know what's going on in your head, but I know a bad plan when I see one!" Toad muttered.
"They have numbers, we have crazy awesome! Look around and see if you can find any buried bombs or fireflower in a powerup box. Then climb up and attack from above. I'll try to draw them off or distract them for the princess to free herself," You said.
"Yup, bad plan," Toad grumbled.
"You think of a better one," You shot back with a glare.
After a moment, Toad began to look around as he said, "Fine, you win... this time."
"Goon-gah-la!" You bellowed as you ran at the group of Koopas and Goombas. swinging the branch to hit as many as you could.
"A human? We were told that the Mario bros were nowhere near here today!" A koopa uttered before you punched them in the face.
"Free the princess or face my wrath!" You yelled, using the large branch as a hockey stick to knock Goombas into Koopas, knocking them down.
"Y/N! It's too dangerous!" Toadstool said, blushing a bit when she saw you. She was pressed up against a tree, still surrounded.
"What's life without a little danger?" You asked, swinging once more and knocking down three more.
"Longer," A smirking hammer brother said as three of them prepared to throw some hammers at you.
"Bombs away!" a fireflower-powered Toad said as he threw some bob-ombs at the hammer brothers, saving you. He was standing on a treelimb some feet above the fight.
"Toad?!" Toadstool cried out as she looked up.
"The one and only!" Toad replied before he began to fling fire balls. "Still can't believe we're following Y/N's plan..."
Hearing that, Toadstool looked at you with a curious look.
"Get the mushroom!" A goomba grunted.
"How about y'all get outta here!?" you said as you began kicking and sweeping Goombas, knocking out more Koopas. You thought, 'I wonder why the Mario Bros never did this? ...Maybe King Koopa might've tried it and he does look really strong...'
