Nicole stood at the entrance of doors edge before she could enter the miniaturized city. She had shrunken herself down to a quarter inch tall, the same as all the inhabitants of this strange place. With her at their new size were her two best friends, Patricia and Bianca. Patricia was a pasty, slightly chubby twelve year old girl who seemed to have a bit of a sociopathic tendency. She always seemed to enjoy the misfortune of others. Bianca was a short and skinny twelve years old girl of Hispanic decent. She was very shy and sheepish, and it took a lot or convincing to get her to come along.
Having explained everything to her friends, both of them seemed to get the message. The shrunken trio entered the city and her instantly amazed. Everything just seemed so real, including many of the “people” walking down the street who sit annoyed looks at the three rowdy middle schoolers.
The trip decided to check out the cities malls. After several hours of shopping and a delicious trip to the food court, the were minding their own business in the malls parking lot. That was when....
