Unaware of the small human that was making his way up to the mouth of her boot, princess Sally Acorn looked around the clearing of the forest she ventured in, thinking to find Robotnik's henchmen waiting for her.
Instead, she found nothing but a deserted clearing.
Perhaps... Sally nervously looked around, preparing herself to fight in case this was an ambush.
A good fighter and leader knows when to relax and when to stay in alert.
While the giant chipmunk you were climbing on looked around, you kept climbing, headed to the top of her light blue boot.
It wasn't an easy task as the footwear lacked any surfaces you could cling to, but you eventually managed to make your way up to the top of the boot; you nearly fell off the first time you stepped on because of the strands of thick, brown fur that covered the leg of the giantess, but you found your balance soon enough and actually used those strands to help yourself up.
Sighing to yourself, you took a moment to rest and contemplate your situation. The hardest part was taken care of, you thought, now you just needed to get the attention of this giant rodent.
Speaking of Sally, she actually started walking around in alert, expecting someone to jump out at any moment; her motions nearly made you fall off once again.
You had to get her attention, fast.
So, without really thinking much, you closed your hand in a fist and delivered a punch to Sally's leg.
No reply from the giantess.
You tried once more, and again, hitting with one hand while hanging to the fur with the other.
Eventually, your efforts were paid off as the giant chipmunk finally felt something onto her leg.
At first, she felt an itch and decided to ignore it; a good fighter doesn't get distracted by such things. But then, the itch became irritating, leading Sally to finally lower her gaze towards her boots.
And that's when she spotted, on top of her left footwear, something small. Initially, she thought it was a bug, but, looking closely, she saw you were no bug at all, but a shrunken creature punching her leg!
"W-Wha..." Sally stuttered.
Hearing her voice, you stopped punching and looked up, your heart swelling in joy as you saw the blue eyes of the giantess staring straight at you.
"Hey!" you exclaimed, seeing you had her attention, but your cry seemed to have done something different that what you were hoping for, because Sally frowned.
It all came to the mind of the chipmunk like a lightning: this thing she found was actually sent here by Robotnik. Perhaps this was a tiny robot and maybe there was a whole army waiting for her behind the bushes.
As for it attacking her, she didn't see it as a surprise: Eggman's robots were very stupid at times.
Though this did look quite realistic...
With many contrasting thoughts swirling in her head, Sally spoke up.
"Okay you little demon," she began as she brought a hand down to you; her first instinct was to crush you, but then she decided to interrogate you to see if this was a trap or not. Someone so small, it wouldn't be hard to make you talk.
The moment her hand closed in a fist around you, Sally realized you were made of flesh and not of metal, meaning you were not a robot.
Better, she thought, it'd be easier to make you fess up.
"Now you're gonna tell me who you are and where your companions are if you don't want me to crush you." she said with a surprising amount of calm in her voice.
Despite the open threat, you didn't let the giantess scare you.
"Who are you!" you retorted, before the frown that appeared on her face made you think that you should control your voice if you wanted to live to see another day,
"... I mean, I don't know what you're talking about, I'm all alone... I was, until you showed up."
Sally's frown waned, replaced by a curious expression, though her fist didn't ease up; this could always be a trap, after all.
"You mean... you're not with Robotnik?" she cautiously asked.
"... Who?" you asked back. This day kept getting weirder: you were shrunken and talking to an anthro animal about a guy with a weird name you didn't even know. You only hoped this didn't keep getting 'better'.
"Listen," you said, calming down the storm of thoughts in your mind and the fear in your heart,
"I just woke up here a little while ago; I'm small, I'm lost and I don't know where to go; I was just trying to figure out what happened to me when you came by... I need your help regaining my size and maybe go home." you explained her.
Sally took a step back. She's heard better from the people who worked with Robotnik, but you sounded sincere.
Perhaps you were really a lost soul in need of help.
"... Who are you?" Sally repeated.
Right.
You squeaked out your name.
"I am Sally Acorn." the princess solemnly introduced herself, before donning a stern gaze,
"What are you doing out here if you aren't one of Robotnik's spies? And why were you attacking me?"
'Oh nothing, just strolling in the forest while I'm an inch tall.' you sarcastically thought,
"I wasn't attacking you, I was trying to get your attention!" you admitted,
"You have to believe me, I'm not with... that guy you mentioned, it's the first time I hear that name. Please, help." you told her, causing the giant chipmunk to place a hand on her hip as she thought.
While she did, she inadvertently pulled her light blue jacket aside, letting you see part of her fur-covered breasts, and you couldn't help but gawk for a good five seconds before recalling the situation you were in.
You looked back at Sally, and she eventually looked back at you, having decided what to do with you.
