When you had heard Sally's reply you were ecstatic, you had managed to convince her that you weren't a spy! Sally had also wanted you to help her though you weren't sure on how you could be useful to her, but before you could ask Sally what she wanted your assistance for she started to move you to an empty pocket on her light blue jacket. "You'll stay in there while I look around here for any signs of Eggman's goons, we can talk later" Sally said sternly. She was going to make sure the coast was clear first before she questioned you further. You offered no complaint as you were forcefully shoved into an empty pocket on Sally's jacket, once you were safely secured she searched around the clearing for any presence of Robotnik's forces.
Even though she had searched high and low Sally had found zilch, "I guess that tiny person must be telling the truth" she thought. So Eggman's minions being in this area was either just a ruse, Sally had come here before they did, or something else entirely. "Alright you can come out now" she said in a surprisingly nicer tone than before, once you saw Sally was looking at you with intrigue. "I'm heading back to my home, once we're there I'm going to question you further" she said. Even though Sally didn't find a gathering of Robotnik's troops here like she had expected this trip wasn't entirely fruitless, she had found you.
So Sally wanted to ask you more questions, figures she wouldn't just immediately trust you. She was being nice(ish) to you now but that could change real quickly depending on what you said, as Sally walked away from the clearing she had found you in you scrounged up anything you thought would be of interest to the giant chipmunk Girl.
