"Plums." Of all things plums? Elen thought to herself after confirming it aloud to herself. She left her room after safely turning off all her equipment and went on a leisurely flight. She wasn't sure if plums even grew here but she used her bird's eye view to scan the environment. She had risen up high above everything and stalled to a slow hover as she was doing this. From up here she could even see the massive building the arenas were in. It dwarfed everything else, was equipped with an array of ventilation fans, and its own water tower presumably to avoid contamination in case of accidents or for the sprinkler system.
She had to fly above it to get a good view of everything. Taking note of the odd smell coming up from the building, and perhaps realizing this was probably what that Aromatisse smelled on the wind, she focused her attention to the nearby forested areas opposite of where the residences and businesses were. Hard to believe this place was a tourist attraction, Elen thought, but pokémon from all over to see the oddity that was smelly tournaments. Most were smell focused pokemon themselves.
"I suppose in this world almost anything is possible." Elen says with reverence, though somewhat bitterly adds "Except my success."
She sees what appears to be an orchard of fruit trees. It was either cultivated or naturally occurring, it was difficult to tell from this distance. If there were plums anywhere in the region it'd probably be there. Elen considered going to the store instead but she didn't want to take a shortcut when it came to a new perfume essence. Fairy magic relied heavily on nature and this was probably the better way to go about it, she reasoned.
Gliding down to the clusters of healthy trees she started searching for anything that seemed like plums being grown. She takes a sniff the air, hoping her well tuned nose could pick on something. Lots of fruits but she smell a hint of plums.
"Bingo. I don't know why I'm listening to her on this but I really hope it works either way." She turns around and begins to approach anything that looked like it could be a plum tree. After going through some bushes she stumbles upon...
