Crystal rocked her head to the music and heard the cheer of the crowd. The sound sent excited chills through her mind that sent her hopping and playing hard, left, then right. She moved closer to the crowd as she jumped, but her left heel did not hold. A small puddle had formed in a dent along the stage floor, and she slipped sideways. Agile as she was, she turned her hip to move with it, her fingers somehow still playing the tune. If anything, it almost looked planned. Only she noticed the small feedback as the bottom of the guitar tapped the ground.
Wanting to keep the energy in her small dive, she sprung back to her feet, but as she did, pushed her weight down on her guitar for balancing help onto the heels. As she swung her left leg up, she felt a hem give way.
The skirt was pleated, and when she stood up it was not particularly noticeable, however a slit now formed from the front-left side of her left leg, all the way from the bottom to just a inch below the waistband. The pleats folded over the seam, but she immediately felt conscious about what would happen if she moved too quickly to the left. To make up lost time, she bounded herself to the right, fearing moving a direction entirely. She knew, however, she could not spend a whole performance standing still, or never moving left. As an experiment, she gave a small jolt of her hip to the left with a step, looking down to see just how bad it would be.
The part did not fully appear up to the edge, but the pleats did part enough to show far past her stocking and up the side of her leg. She was at an awkward angle to look, but she was fairly sure no underwear was on display, and so decided to attempt to carry on with the same fervor as before. She did hear with that hip jolt a small swell from the crowd, and felt a flush in her cheeks. Was it because some of them noticed?
She realized she was becoming far too distracted from the performance - the real purpose of being here. Now slightly more wary of her surroundings, she attempted to carry on as she did before, though ground was still a bit wet, and her clothes still quite old.
