Worried that the crowd's excitement is wani...

Truth be told, Crystal was unsure whether or not water made clothes stronger or weaker. She thought of sweaters and how it shrunk-

She shook her head and belted out more lyrics. She had to keep focus, because the crowd was excited and she was not. She had to keep them going, to match their enthusiasm at any cost. Anyone could be watching, after all, that could affect their careers forever! She could not let them down.

She rocked. She danced. She moved and thrust herself as fast as she did before. She felt a slight extra weight on her clothes, but no chill from the brief rain at all - she was moving too much for it.

There was the bit of apprehension, though, she still had that kept her from jutting out with her left leg. If the split was visible, it was not bad, however. Certainly it was not. It couldn't be.

She realized her thoughts were distracted again, and moved even harder, jumping in the air (putting her guitar against her skirt to keep it from flaring up) and landing on her knees. As she did, she felt something off the moment she stood back up. No one except her had really noticed, but as she pressed her guitar against her skirt, the end of it slipped against the waist line of her skirt on the right side - the side with the belt buckles for her skirt. Her movement pushed the buckle back, and her jolt up in the air slipped the prong loose.

The skirt sat loose, once placed underneath her fishnet and shirt, just half an inch below her belly button, but now was sagging just one more inch to the tops of her bony hips.

No one in the crowd could see, but Crystal was all the more nervous. If she moved too much without keeping her legs apart, the skirt could slip down further. If she focused on too much awkward movement, she could easily fall, however.
