Meanwhile, at Jessica's house, the 23-year old was frantically rumaging through her bag, searching for something she'd lost. The Trait Swapper in fact. "Come on, where the hell is it? I can't lose it!" she mumbled to herself, pulling several items out of her purse, including her lipstick and eyeshadow and throwing them onto her bed. But the search proved fruitless.
"Crap!" Jessica sighed, slumping her shoulders. Then a spark lit in the back of her mind. She rembered stashing the device on the till while she served customers that day. She had been about to use it on two customers when Elizabeth walked by, so she hid it.
"Hope it's still there tomorrow." Jessica said, not believing that she'd been so careless.
She was thankful she was back at the Rotherham store tomorrow, since she normally worked at the Parkgate branch. She, Kiran and Melissa were all 'on loan' to help out with the workload.
Jessica unzipped her heeled boots and put them by her bedside table, then she disappeared into the bathroom to freshen up before getting ready for bed.
15 minutes later, having changed into her pyjamas, Jessica slipped under the covers of her bed, still unable to take her mind off her missing device. She hoped she would be able to recover it the next morning. After all, it wasn't every day you came across something that was capable to swapping people's traits around. She wanted it back.
