No, this 'Ritchie' - this 'Dick' - gave up all right to your companionship when he declared you to be a pet, and locked you away here, as if he couldn't trust you. If he can't trust you not to run away, he must have reason for you to try. Reason like his sick desire for you to perform for the simplest scraps of food!
Your pride is stung, and you determine to get away from this irrresponsible brat. He may have thought the drawer inescapable to tiny you, but at your scale what may seem a flush close actually leaves a perfectly accessible slot for you to squeeze through. It's tight, and you scrape your skin at points, but you pop free to descend the rough surface of the dresser to the carpet.
No sign of the humans, so you scamper out of Ritchie's room - he thankfully left the door wide open - into the landing hall, mighty stairs descending to the floor below. You could climb down them, but your speed would be so slow that a person may well begin walking up them before you're done!
But where else is there to go? You could head to one of the other rooms up here, maybe grab some stuff. Perhaps a window might allow you to escape? Perhaps you just camp out here, wait until night falls and the humans sleep, and then climb downstairs in safety?
