The dog eating from a food bowl

You saw the boxer eating from a dog bowl. You were curious an terrified at the giant beast. You stayed where you were and watched from afar. The dog continued eating for a while and you wondered how long would it take. After a couple more minutes the dog gets up and walks away. You decide to get closer to the food bowl, making sure the dog was away. You heard a voice in the other room seemingly talking to the dog so you make a run for it.
You make it to the dog bowl and climb up the edge. It was filled with crumbs and a couple of pieces of kibble. it was strange to see something so small before seemingly your size now. You looked over next to you and noticed the water bowl next to you. It looked like a swimming pool and you were entranced. The fear of the dog disappeared and you tried to make it down but you heard the dog come back and you freaked out. You fell into the bowl of leftover kibble. You look up in horror as the giant beast walked past you. You heard slurps of liquid and relief was felt when you realized it was getting water.
That relief disappeared when the dog looked at the bowl and you could swear it could see you. It stared barking quite a bit. You heard a voice come from the other room and footsteps start to make its way over to you. Suddenly you saw the 15 year old tower above you. He was skinny and had a head of messy brown hair. He looked down at the bowl you were in.
"You ate your food already, how are you still hungry? Well since they're on vacation, I'll give you a bit more. Just don't get used to it,"
the kid said.
The kid walked away and you began to freak out. The dog was still looking at you so you couldn't make a run for it. You decided it would be best to get the kid's attention before you got buried. The kid then came back with a cup of kibble and looked at the bowl. You jumped up and down and waved your arms. You shouted a bit so he would hopefully hear you. The kid stared at the bowl for a couple seconds.
