The kids looked directly at you and they looked surprised. You were relieved that the kid saw you. His hand reached for you and you were grabbed by the soft palm.
The kid brought you closer and he had a gentle look on his face. You hoped this was a good sign.
“Hey are you alive?” The kid asked.
“Yes. I’m a neighbor from a couple houses down,” you responded.
The kid held you closer to his face. His breath blew over you and it smelled a little like pizza. You kinda enjoyed the feeling as it was warm and not too bad. The kid’s eyes looked over you when a look of recognition appeared.
“Oh yeah I’ve seen you a few times. How did you become small in my house?” He asked. However you noticed a strange look in his eyes you couldn’t quite figure out.
“Well I made a portal that could teleport you and it accidentally sent coordinates to your house. And the it created was small so I ended up shrunk?” you explained.
“Hmm” was all the kid said. He seemed distracted and his eyes seemed to be looking at you with a glazed over look. The dog then barked and he seemed to remember why he was in the kitchen. He set you on the counter and went to fill the bowl. However you caught a glimpse of his crotch area and it seemed that something was making a bulge. You stared and then thought of the look in his eye. You were now worried about what he was thinking.
The kid filled the bowl and he returned the dog food to where he got it. He then came to pick you up and you expected to go to the living room. He did but he turned the tv off and headed to where you just came from, his bedroom. The worry in your mind become stronger. He sat on the bed and held you in his open palm. He looked at you with that same look for a few seconds.
“So hey kid what’s your name?” You asked.
“It’s Bryce,” he responded.

Bruce looked at you with a now nervous look.
“Look I’m sure it would be nice to help you but I’m afraid I can’t do that,” Bryce said.
“What why?” You asked in a panic. You were shocked he wasn’t even willing to help.
