King Ivar (the Bloody)
The aging ruler of Tryzantium. In his younger years Ivar reunited the fracturing Kingdom in a brutal military conquest but these days he spends more time controlling the boisterous fruit of his loins than managing his armies and his martial strength is all but gone, though he still maintains an imposing (if increasingly plump) stature. His hair and beard have turned silver, granting him an almost grandfatherly appearance, though this belies the ruthlessness he is willing to meet out on those that disobey him.
A lecherous old sod, Ivar works tireless to hide his multiple lovers from his wife.
Queen Helena (the Vast)
Ivar's wife and cousin, their marriage was been one of political convenience. Despite the loveless union, Helena has still managed to bear a generous clutch of children. Each birth, combined with her love for extravagant banquets, has increased her girth, so that she now resembles a massive, waddling ball of silk and ermine studded with jewels.
Helena has a fondness for intrigue and spend her time plotting, scheming, and trying to catch the King in his infidelities.
Prince Rilian (the Lost)
The eldest and beloved son of Ivar and Helena, the handsome Rilian vanished during a military campaign in distant lands. It is believed he fell in combat, though in truth he is now prisoner of the queen of Erolus.
Princess Isabella (the Fecund)
Princess Isabella is the eldest daughter. Yet unwed, Ivar is hoping to use her to cement an alliance with the Kingdom of Ordania, though it is vital her virginity is kept intact. This has not been helped by the Church of the Goddess, who recently bestowed upon Isabella a fertility blessing, regarded as a great honour, which has transformed the plain young princess into a broad hipped, big breasted harlot. Her many handsome suitors have Ivar tearing out what remains of his hair.
- The Bountiful Blessing is a fertility spell designed to turn women into baby factories, making them abundantly fertile, lustful, and capable of inducing lust in any nearby male.
Princess Emma (the Brave)
A strong, courageous woman, Emma has displayed extraordinary skill with sword and bow, and keen martial and political acumen. For a woman. It is Ivar's greatest regret that she were not born a man.
Prince Edward (the Pure)
The fraternal twin of Emma. Ivar's greatest source of frustration, Edward is the sickly, naive successor to the throne. He is pale, delicate, and devoted to the pacificist teachings of the Church. Sensing his weakness, pretenders to the throne are already circling like vultures. Ivar is determined to make a man and a King out of Edward or failing that, kill him and appoint his younger brother King.
Prince Anders
The youngest, Anders is a healthy and adventurous child, always getting into trouble.
Janus Meade the Magician
The court consultant on magic, Janus is a powerful sorcerer fiercely devoted to the Royal Family as only the protection of the King stops his fellow wizards from blasting him out of existence at the first opportunity.
Jiggles the Jester
A rather sad individual, Jiggles is a shapeshifter. He is roughly humanoid with pale, drooping, rubbery flesh. His ability to alter his form has been blocked by enchanted chains.
