The lost Prince Rilian

    by: Unknown
After the battle of Magloria Prince Rilian and his men were about yo head back Tryzantium for a celebratory feast. Unlike his father who was an adulterous brute, Rilian was more noble and peaceful believing war to be a last resort if necessary, but he did enjoy hunting and sports competitions. His amazing physic and his charm would have any lady so. He's also the type of man to hire lowly peasants to high positions of power. This however gained scorn from his father who believed that doing such is nonsense. This was also the reason why Rilian wanted to usurp or at least convince his father to give him the throne, for he believed that his father's foolishness will destroy the kingdom.

However he ran into a bit of a bind. Just when things seemed peaceful they were suddenly ambushed from behind. It so happened that the princess from Erolus had set a plan to capture the prince and force him into marrying her. Being the ruler of her kingdom Princess Luna needed to take over Tryzantium and remove the evil from within it and find a husband. So when she heard that the foolish King Ivar declared war, this was her chance to kill two birds with one stone.

The next thing that Rilian knew that he was in some sort of guest bedroom with a bathroom connected to it. But when he tried to leave the room a magic barrier blocked the exit.

"What sort of trickery is this?", questioned Prince Rilian

"Good you're awake. Now we can talk about peace negotiations.", said Princess Luna.

"This is an awkward to seek peace, but I'm all ears.", said Prince Rilian.

"Good, the peace I seek is the unification of our two kingdoms.", said Princess Luna.

"What! I'm awfully sorry Princess but it would be disgraceful for me just to marry anyone out of the blue without the blessings of my parents and the blessing of your parents.", replied Prince Rilian.

"My parents died three years ago leaving me in charge of the kingdom.", said Princess Luna.

"I'm sorry to hear that. At least let me send word to my kingdom so I can tell them that I am making an arrangement for peace.", said Prince Rilian.

"I cannot permit that. I'm afraid you have no choice but to stay in Erolus until you say yes to my proposal.", said Princess Luna.

"You know what you're doing is totally improper and thus warrants restraint.", replied Prince Rilian.

"Well according to the rules of war you're my prisoner and ergo don't have a say.", replied Princess Luna.

Princess Luna leaves the room. Rilian then notices that on the balcony of his room is a plate full of food cooked for a king. Rilian thought this to be strange since he is technically Luna's prisoner but figures it's due to the fact that she's trying to make him change his mind about the proposed forced marriage. Yet it could of been a lot worse though. He could of been locked in a cell but at least in the princess's weird sense of treatment ensured that he was sort of treated like royalty. Yet it also became apparent that he could only leave the room if accompanied by a guard or by Luna herself.

"Well at least she knows how to treat a prince, except I'm her prisoner until I accept her ridiculous marriage proposal. Might as well eat my dinner.", Rilian said to himself.

Once Rilian took a bite of the food the taste buds in his mouths exploded with flavor. He couldn't help but devour it with such tenacity. Suddenly thoughts of hunger filled his mind. He just had to have more. So over the course of the next few days Rilian requested he had a double of whatever he would receive for his meals, which oddly enough Princess Luna granted the request seeing this new development to be a sign of consideration to marriage. Yet it was her idea to spike Rilian's food with a weight gain potion figuring it might be easier for him to agree to the proposal if well fed.
