Part 4: Dealing with pests

Prepare for the hunt, the execution, and the coming of fire.
These were the orders given by the Sect. They ran repeating in your mind. The hunt was your hunt. They predicted what you were going to do, what you always do to slavers. If you'd have attacked, you've have been outnumbered, pushed back and fallen right into their trap with a needle in the brain's stem.
Your mind raced as fast as your heart. It hasn't slowed for a moment, even after you returned Jason and Uschi home. You've been pacing back and forth across your living room ever since.
Was that the execution? No. Three leonas, three orders. The execution is next. But where and for whom? Risa? How could a micen possibly kill her? In her sleep most likely, but you're sure she, like you, isn't that heavy of a sleeper. They also wouldn't have waited for all three leonas to become heavy sleepers on the same day.
Risa isn't afraid to kill micen. She'll chew them up and spit them out until her floor is covered with their severed bodies. She'll stomp on the rest. She also has Mombasa there to warn her of any trouble. She'll have a hay day, most likely drinking heavily while massacring them. The alcohol is most likely to kill her than the micen.
Alcohol? Your eyes widened. Alcohol! The coming of fire! No. The micen wouldn't dare light her room on fire. It would only make her death look like an accident. Your eyes widened again, The exterminators wouldn't gas that room. The fire would eat the alcohol faster than the wood. The firefighters would arrive by the time that amount of booze was finished burning. Thorrow's expedition... They scouted no colonies... There would be an entire safe haven for the Sect to run to while the rest of the rooms get gassed!
There's still time to stop it! That would only mean that the execution is for...
"Shieki!" You called and ran to your door.

Shieki swayed her head back and forth, watching a cartoon about feral rabbits in space kicking evil penguins in volcanoes that were under ground, in water, in an asteroid.
In her lap sat Thorrow laying against her cat friend's tummy, dreaming daydreams. Shieki is happier than she's ever been this week. She made new friends, played with old ones, even found out Thorrow's little secret. It makes sense why she'd stare at Shieki whenever she ate dinner. Now, the white cat simply adores her presence.
Mango was sitting next to the leona's thigh, resting against it.
Jessie, the orange furred, grey bellied, blonde mouse sought it much more fit to sit on the nightstand next to the couch. She looked nervous. her tail was swaying and her gaze was looking around.
"Something wrong dear?" Shieki asked, following the cat's glare to above the door, where mouse hole was made. She doesn't remember that ever being there. Why would a micen even need to get up there?
"No..." Jessie shook her head, "Nothing at all."
Shieki had no reason not to believe her friend.
"Shieki," Jessie croaked before clearing her throat, "I'm a little hungry. Can you make me something to eat?"
Shieki nodded and got up, gently placing Thorrow on one shoulder, and Jessie on the other. She entered the kitchen and placed Jessie on the counter in the middle of the room. She couldn't grab Thorrow, who thought it was a good idea to hang onto the collar on the back of her shirt. Ever since Shieki started swallowing her and letting her back out, she's been more playful. Normally she would have just Thorrow on the couch with the show so she could watch it with Mango. But ever since she found out Thorrow
As Shieki reached for the cabinet with the plates in it, she notices it was opened a little bit. She doesn't recall Mango going in there. She could have sworn he has a fear of plates, and being on them. Why would anyone be in there?
As Shieki was opening the cabinet, there was a loud bang on the door that made her jump.
A voice called behind it, "Shieki! Let me in!"
She wasn't inclined to answer. Something hard and metal hit her on the back of the head.

"Shieki! Let me in!" You yelled as you pounded on the door.
There was a loud clash from inside. It sounded like a metal pot bouncing off of tile.
"No!" You tried to open the door, but when you did, it was stopped on the metal latch above. You cursed and closed the door. You prepared to kick in the door, but then you remembered what Geeaness taught you.
You looked through Shieki's mailbox. Luckily, she didn't check it since you've broke into Kert. You quickly grabbed the same bill that your friend had and opened the door. You placed it where he had and closed the door. With all the luck in the world, it worked on the first try. The bill was thick enough to straighten out and removed the lock.
You were about to burst in there, guns a blazing, but then you stopped and thought of a plan on how to enter.
