You walk in a bit late, you were having trouble with your locker.
You introduce yourself to the head cheerleader, a girl named Katy, who was a Senior.
"Hi, I'm Adam, I got this saying I was accepted to cheerleading, but I didn't sign up..."
"Oh! hmm," she looks over the sign up list. "I hadn't even noticed, those were sent out automatically, I just assumed it was all girls, I mean, not that boys can't do it... But your name is on the sign up sheet, you're sure you didn't sign up?"
"Yeah, someone must've put my name on there as a prank or something."
Katy stay silent for a moment, thinking something over it seemed.
"that really sucks, because as the paper you got said, we're pretty short this year, a ton of the cheerleaders were Seniors, and they all graduated, there are 3 of us Juniors that are now Seniors, 2 Sophomore now Juniors, and 2 Freshman now Sophomore, and with the 3 new Freshmen, you included, we just him the minimum requirement... So without you, there won't be any cheerleading this year." She whispered the last part, not wanting the others to hear.
"Your serious? That sucks, but I'm not really athletic, and not really into cheerleading"
"Tell you what, give it a chance, and if you really don't like it I totally understand, and another thing, normally guy cheerleaders are lifters and throwers, strong guys to hold the smaller girls up, but I don't think that's something you're up to, so you'll be a flyer, or one of the girls- sorry one of the cheerleaders that gets thrown into the air.... Pleeeeeeeease."
You sigh...
