"I guess I could try it" You reluctantly say. You felt guilty, being the tenth sign up, and getting their hopes up, even if you weren't the one that signed yourself up.
"YAY" Katy yelled. We've already handed out uniforms before you got here, let me find a boys uniform for you..."
She digs through a box, lifts up one, "No that's a large..." she mutters, then grabs another, "A medium!" She holds it against you, "Hmmm, still too big, there's bound to a small in here somewhere, she digs for another minute.
After searching for a minute she sighs. "Another Snafu, there aren't any male uniforms that would fit you, and we can't practice without everyone in uniform, school rules. We could... maybe... if you didn't mind."
"What?" You ask, not knowing where she's going with that.
"Wearagirl'suniformjustfortoday" she said really fast.
"What I missed that?"
"Since your already being such a good sport, maybe... if you didn't mind you could wear one of the girl's smalls, we'll order a small Boy's uniform, so it would just be for today promise, and really they're not that different, the tops are almost identical, and the skirts have an inner lining you step into, so people cant see up the skirt when it flips up.
You really want to say no, and just quit this whole thing, but you hate disappointing people, especially a cute girl who is relying on you right now, giving you doe eyes.
"I guess... but just for today."
"Of course Just today, we'll have a real uniform for you next time, if you decide to stay. Here go change into this, don't be embarrassed we're all wearing the same thing."
