You're a preteen who's just looking for adventure as long as there's also money in it for you. You hunt various objects hoping to sell for money. With your athletic skills and trusty tools such as pick axes and hammers and grappling hooks, these turned out to be nothing to it.
But then, you found something called a badge. You heard about someone in a town called Rogueport who pays for these things. You smiled and decided to take it. Whatever they offer was better than nothing.
However, as soon as you picked up the badge, something happened.
The world around was looking different, like it was growing larger! Actually you were shrinking! You were now the size of the badge! How did this happen?
Before you thought about it, you heard someone humming. You turned and saw a mouse! It was female and definitely bigger than you! She was heading towards your direction. Seeing how this was good timing, you try to ask her for help.
The mouse heard a voice and followed it. She then saw you and gasped. Then she spoke, "Oh my! A tiny but also adorable little boy! Are you ok?" You said "Yes and no!" And explained what happened. That you picked up a badge and next thing you knew, you were small. But when you tried showing the badge to her, you couldn't find it for some reason! It was like it just vanished into thin air.
Despite this, the mouse replied, "I'm sorry to hear that, sweetie! Oh but where are my manners? Ms Mowz! And you?" You told her your name and what you were even doing out here in the fields. Ms Mowz eye sparkled at hearing you being a treasure hunter and thought of something, "Well Dearie, I don't know what to do about your size problem, but I have an idea: I'll take you in and with both of our skills combined, we can hunt treasure together!" You were surprised at this and said, "Wow really? Even though I'm small? I don't really seem useful like this." Ms Mowz cheered you up, "Now sweetie, don't say that! Why I was very little myself when I started. Just give it a chance, and I'll be with you every step of the way." She sounded very sure of this and you decided, "Ok I'm in."
Ms Mowz cheered and did a backflip before saying, "Excellent! Now I promise you'll enjoy the pleasure of my company!" She then scooped you up and gave you a kiss. You couldn't help but blush and giggle and she did the same.
And so began the somewhat likely duo's adventures. What will happen first? Time will tell.
