A Size Ray?!

As you stand there, you see this odd device laying right there in front of you. It was a odd looking toy ray gun. You pick it up and examine it on all sides. While examining it, you found on one side, it had the markings of a small •marker on one end and a much larger one on the other end, with a scale in between. You stare at it for a bit longer and decide to set it to [Blank] and fire it at [Blank] to see what this thing could possible do. The results were more shocking than you could ever imagine!
