Before Lisa and Erica could finish the exam the phone rang inside Erica her pockets. Erica picked it up and moved to a corner of the room. Lisa could hear fragments of the conversation.
"Yeah with Erica... I'm here with Lisa Hale... We were just about to finish her exam... You want to do what?... You can't be serious about it.... That's highly irresponsible...Yes I know....She's just finished with the transfer, you can't expect to.... I understand...But it won't be my fault if anything goes wrong."
Erica puts her phone in her pocket again and returns to Lisa again.
"So Lisa, I guess you heard my conversation?"
"A little bit, is it about me?" Lisa asked unsure.
"Yes, it is." Erica pushed a lock of hair behind her ear again. "You know I'm not supposed to tell you this, but there is something going on here at the company. We recently had a new board of directors, and since then things haven't been the same around here. People are fired, new people are hired all that sort of things. It's not the same company I started at."
Erica then looked around and bowed over to Lisa to whisper. "The board of directors have heard the news about your and Stacy's little "mishap". They just contacted me and they want to...
