Just then, an idea comes to your mind. Some of your best buddies have also spent time in prison. They were able to get out early on account of good behavior. If there was one thing in this world you hated, besides monsters, it was a goody two shoes. But, if this works you'll be out of here and home free, with no worries of Destiny or anyone else coming after you.
Of course, your plan meant that you would have to play suck up to Destiny. Just the thought of it made you cringe and gag at the same time. But if you played your cards right, and made her think you were truly sorry for what you did (-which of course was a lie) then you'd be out of here in no time.
You get back in your cell, and wait for Destiny to make her daily rounds, going around and checking all the cells. When she walks past you, you yell out "Destiny! Wait a minute!" Destiny turns to you with a scowl. "What do you want, Wade? I have more important things to do than chit chat with a criminal like you."
This is it. Time to put your acting skills to the test. You pretend to hang your head in shame and say "I've had a lot of time to think while I've been here, and, well, I kind of regret setting that mummy on fire, along with the other stuff I've done. Getting into fights, stealing cars, too much stuff to list really. I just though you should know, you won't be hearing about any more escape attempts from me. I'll serve my time."
As you expected, Destiny is skeptical. "Why should I believe you? After all the times you've tried to escape, you're lucky I don't have you executed just to get out of my hair. Give me one good reason why I should believe that you've really changed?"
