Dark Side

You gulp as you turn to the right and begin to run. You knew of a shortcut to the outside of the prison, but to get there you needed to go through Dark Side. The Dark Side was the section of your floor where they kept inmates that committed the most heinous crimes. Crimes so severe, they were given life (or eternity if they were undead). They were so dangerous even the already thuggish guards had trouble with them. No human that ventured into their territory had ever come out because the creatures here were all predatory beasts that wouldn't think twice about eating tiny humans.

But as you reach Dark Side, you feel tremors from footsteps but they're unusually strong even for a monster's vibrations. This was one big monster. You turn and then you scream. "You gotta be kidding me." You see a shadow on the floor that looked like it had bat wings, horns and a lizard like tail. This was your worst enemy, Warden Destiny. "Oh no," you say. "If that blueberry skinned bat catches me out of my cell, I'm in serious trouble."

You turn to see several cells of the inmates in Dark Side and get an idea. While being in the same cell with one of these manglers was dangerous, being caught by that thousand foot tall gargoyle would be even more dangerous. Warden Destiny had little tolerance for prisoners that tried to escape and hated you the most because you tried to escape more times than ever. You had no choice, so you inhale and run into a cell.

Fortunately for you, Destiny turns the other way and walks away as you let out a sigh of relief. But then you realize that you're in the same cell as one of the Dark Side prisoners. Maybe they didn't know you were here. Perhaps they were still asleep. You didn't know which of those monsters you were in the same cell with until you look around and see that you're in the same cell as...
