You look around in vain, squinting your eyes, trying to get a good idea of who's cell you'd managed to stumble into. But they didn't call this place the 'dark side' for no reason. It was really dark...the windows were so heavily locked up that tiny streams of light about your size flowed into the cells, not nearly enough light to really see the place. You shudder as you imagine what it's like here at night.
Deciding that leaving is probably the best option, you start making your way towards the giant cell bars when a sudden "CLACK" sound fills your ears, and you freeze. You hear a yawn, followed by even more clacking sounds. You didn't dare move. You didn't know anything about this inmate. What if they had hyper sensitive hearing, and would hear you making a break for it? Or if they'd see your small form running amidst the darkness? The only movement you dared to make was to turn around and get a good look at the inmate, and can't help but gasp.
Standing far too close for comfort were the gigantic hooves of Mariah, the Quagga rapist who you really wished you weren't going to see today. Her entire lower body was identical to a zebra's, from the patterns on its fur to the tail swishing back and forth. Peering upwards even higher, at around neck level for an ordinary quagga, stood the upper body of a woman...and an unpleasant sight at that.
She had no modesty of any kind, wearing no prison uniform to speak of, although that could be attributed to her lower body making it difficult to fit into the single-piece prison uniforms. Her body was...graciously endowed, so to speak, but that really didn't matter, since you really didn't want to be near her either way. Her face was unpleasant and garish looking, but you couldn't tell if it was always like that or the scars on her face attributed to it.
Either way, you were done looking, you'd seen more than enough. Slowly, so as to not get her attention, you begin to tip toe away from her, towards the cell doors...before screaming as her giant, pudgy fingers wrapped around you, easily snatching you up before you ever had a chance. She brings you up to her face, and a toothy grin crawls across it, making you shudder. "Awfully brave for a human, aren'tchu, little guy?" she says in a mocking tone. Gulping, you try to speak. "This is all a big mistake, miss... Mariah, ma'am. I was just walking down this hallway, and I wandered in by accident."
"Oh really? You accidentally walked into jail cell of Fearville's most feared rapist? Sounds to me like you came here for a reason..." she said, her voice trailing off. She clearly had the wrong idea. "...okay, fine, I didn't wander in. I was hiding from Destiny because I'm kind of breaking out of prison right now, so I really need to get going, so if you could just put me down..." "Ha! Oh, please, if only it were that easy, pipsqueak. No, I don't want you to leave... I've been alone for so long. You're the first male human to wander in here on his own in a long, long time, and you really think I'm just going to just... let you leave?"
Crap. Mariah clearly wasn't going to let you go just because you asked her to. And considering the reason she was imprisoned, you still need to get out of there. Mariah looks at you expectantly, like she's expecting you to say something before she does...whatever she's going to do with you. Thinking for a few moments, you suddenly get an idea. "Mariah, what would you say if I told you that I could get you out of here? Open your cell, so you can escape?" "You? You think you can get me out?" she said, her voice full of uncertainty. "I know it sounds crazy, but I know people. If you let me go, I can escape, get them, and we'll come back for. What do you say? An arm for an arm?" Of course, you weren't really going to come back for a terrifying rapist, that was just a ploy to get her to let you go. But you weren't going to tell her that.
The Centauress actually stopped for a moment, considering your offer. As much as she probably wanted to...well, use you, being set free is probably a much stronger desire in her. That is, if you're to be believed. Gazing up at her, practically praying that you'll get the chance to get out of the same cell as this rapist, she finally...
