As the truck leaves the city and reaches the suburbs, you notice it starting to slow down. Realizing the speed limit must have dropped you decide to prepare yourself to jump as soon as the opportunity arises. Eventually, the buildings and overpasses dissappeared and were replaced by houses and trees.
"This looks like a neighborhood" you think to yourself as you watch the scenery roll by. A few moments later the tow truck stopped at an intersection. "Looks like this is my chance to disembark" you mutter as you leap off of the truck and into a patch of nearby bushes. You watch the tow truck drive off before you head deeper into the suburbs. Night had fallen and streetlights began to turn on. "Hm, better find someplace to stay the night," you mutter as you dart around bushes and behind trees to keep yourself hidden. You thought you'd have an easier time moving around at night, but you start to see several nocturnal based anthros out and about. At one point, you have to dive though a hedge to stay out of sight of a panther jogging down the street. "This is rediculous," You mumble as you climb a tree to avoid leopard woman who was walking with what looked like a school bag and heading towards the city. You glance around to find a nearby house that you could easily land on from the tree's branches. As carefully and silently as you can, you drop out of the branches and land on the roof before positioning yourself in a lounging position, facing what you thought was the backyard of the house.
Looking out in the distance you see an expanse of house tops and streetlights, further investigation reveals what looks like a high school. You put a hand to your chin in thought, it might make a good hiding spot, and their could be food there.... Then again it might be easier to be found by the staff and students there. And your relatively safe where you're at...
So what'll it be? Stay on this rooftop or head for the school?
