Chapter #2

You go for an early patrol

    by: Unknown
You decide as a lifeguard, it's your sworn duty to do an early patrol. Some surfers and swimmers tend to arrive early as well and Roxy hadn't punched in yet. There were five in particularly that was the most quirky, to put it lightly.

You walk along the beach and then you remember the surfers in particular. First was Lila, the vampire. For obvious reasons, she only showed up at night or when it was particularly cloudy. She was a very good vampire who looked like a monster version of a doll. But she was a poor excuse for a vampire. You remember having to calm her down when she cut her foot on a piece of glass as Roxy tended to the wound. How a vampire survived so long without drinking one drop of blood is beyond you.

Then there was that bandersnatch Carmen. She was always goofy around and making the other surfers laugh. But she had quite an appetite on her and was often seen hanging around Mesa's grill. You're afraid that she might see a human as a tasty snack.

Another girl you remember a lot more fondly is Connie. You had a thing for big beautiful woman goths, even if Connie had the tail of an anaconda. You didn't know how she surfed without a pair of legs but she really liked you. Maybe she was so friendly because she couldn't eat you. Humans make her swell up like a balloon, more than usual.

Then there was one you really didn't like, that show boating baku Reimu. She hates humans for some reason and is always treating you like you weren't there. One time she even sat on you. You're lucky the beach cushioned it.

But the one surfer you didn't want to run into was Hannah, that sadistic blue tengu girl. You've seen her torture humans in the worst possible way. You swear you once saw her setting a human on fire. Lifeguard or not, Hannah would probably treat you no better.

But as you're walking you hear footsteps getting closer towards you. One of the surfers was nearby. But which one.
