His father was the best man he ever knew. He was hard-working, kind yet stern when he needed to be. Jack never wanted for anything, to a degree, and he had his father and mother to thank for that, his father moreso. Whenever his mother said no, his father always said yes.
Even now, at his age, his father couldn't help but still spoil him on occasions.

Although, looking at him know, time was beginning to catch up to his father. While he was still in fantastic shape, His short hair started to turn grey, giving him salt-and-paper, same along with his beard.
Liver spots and other old-age related blemishes started popping up on his skin, and he started getting tired easier then before. During his childhood, Jack and his father would stay up all night together, playing games, telling stories, any and everything he wanted to do. Now his father started getting tired at 8 and was in bed by 9.
Damn, he's getting old Jack thought, sadness washing over him slightly. He didn't want to think about the day when his parents weren't around anymore. When it would just be him, alone, with no one else.
Reveal It Jack the thought raced through his head. It was not his own.
Without taking his eyes of his father, driving too the restaurant, talking to his mother in the passenger seat, Jack opened his hand to reveal the coin.
