Heads. The strange coin landed on heads, the smiling faces of the two pregnant figures visible to Jack.


Heads! Reality Change! the alien voice echoed through his head.

As Jack stared at his father, he could have sworn that the air around him was shimmering, like a haze. It enveloped him, and the surrounding area in the mysterious shimmer, the air in the car feeling thick, like a soup.
