A preteen boy (age 12-14)

As you flip through the contacts on your phone, you start to think that probably the most interesting (if not the most risky) person to give the formula to would be a middle school boy; someone on the verge of becoming an adult, going through puberty and having all sorts of conflicting thoughts, emotions, and feelings running through their heads. You think back to yourself as a middle schooler and how awesome it would have been to be omnipotent then, and that settles it.

Of the boys that age that you knew, two immediately jumped out at you as possible candidates. The first was Alex. Fourteen years old and in eighth grade, Alex was the son of a friend, and you had always found him to be interesting and mysterious. He always seemed rather shy and quiet, and his long dark hair continuously covered his eyes, making him even more aloof. At the same time, the few times he did open up to you, he seemed to be friendly and had a lot of intelligent and creative things to say, unlike his dark, depressing emo appearance might lead you to believe. Maybe making Alex omnipotent would cause him to open up, or at least let him have a little more fun with his creative nature.

The second boy you thought about calling was Paul, who in many ways was the opposite of Alex. Just twelve years old and in sixth grade, Paul was always bright, chipper, and eager to talk to anybody around him. He also had a generous heart; you had first met him at a soup kitchen you were volunteering at, where Paul was helping out along with some of the boys from his Boy Scout troop. In fact, you saw him volunteer at that soup kitchen a lot, many times coming without anyone else from his troop. You knew that Paul would be a generous and kind god, and would probably be less risky than anyone else you knew.

Switching back and forth between the two boys' names, you finally decided to...
