Suddenly remembering his power, Evan decided that his mother Miranda was the most logical person in his family to share it with. She was a level-headed individual who he knew he could trust. Evan headed out of his room to search for his mom, and located her in the kitchen. She was still wearing the slacks, blouse, and heels she had worn to work earlier.
"Hey Mom," said Evan.
"Hi Evan," she replied. "Feeling any better?"
"Yeah, much better," Evan said. "But I wanted to talk to you about something."
"Sure. What is it?"
"I had this weird dream last night. I mean a really weird dream and I think it has something to do with that headache I had this morning."
"How so?"
"Well, in the dream I heard this voice tell me that I now have the power to swap anything between myself and another person, provided I have their permission. I know it sounds crazy, but the fact that I woke up with such a pounding headache makes me wonder if I really do have this power."
"Are you sure you're feeling better?" Evan's mom asked, sounding a bit concerned.
"I'm fine, Mom. And I'm being serious. This power probably isn't real, but I just want to try it."
"Alright," Miranda agreed with a slight laugh, still thinking her son was joking.
"Okay, Mom, if you could swap anything with me, what would it be?"
"That's a tough one," Miranda said, thinking over Evan's question. "Why don't we try switching ..."
