"RJ!" called his Mom. "Could you come inside for a minute?"
Slightly annoyed by the interruption, RJ climbed down from the tree and went inside to the kitchen. His Mom had just come back from the store and she had about five shopping bags with her. "You wanted something, Mom?" asked RJ, looking at the bags on the counter top.
"Yes," said his Mom. "I just wanted to ask you what kind of cake do you wanted for your birthday."
"Well," started RJ. "Since a lot of kids will be here, I just want a regular chocolate cake. Something everybody will like."
"No, RJ," said his Mom. "That's not what I meant. Each boy will have their own cake to eat." She started unloading multiple boxes of cake mix from the shopping bags. "I want to know want you want on your cake"
"I get a WHOLE cake to myself?!" asked RJ, with surprise and delight.
"That's right," his Mother said. "So, what would like on your's?"
"I still want a chocolate cake," said RJ. "And...uh...why don't you surprise me?"
"Okay then," said his Mom. "That should be easy enough! I'll get started on these cakes right away. You can go back outside now."
